	The G-NET Industrial Vehicle Mounted Computer features a completely open architecture PC design, using a Windows™ PC platform allows the user to configure their own Windows XP™ compatible software on the system and use a wide range of third party peripherals. You can run any public service and commercial related applications including communication clients, dispatch software, intranet software and more.
	Write CD's On The Go (optional)
	Simply connect any USB external DVD-RW / CD-RW drive and you can write CD's and DVD's on the go. Backup video files, important data and more. Create custom CD's and DVD's while away from the office.
	GPS Navigation (optional)
	Never get lost again! Receive turn-by-turn directions to any address nationwide. This option includes the GPS receiver and software with Dynamic Directions, Two-Way Voice Technology, RV-Friendly Routing options and over 3 million Points-of-Interest. The user interface is easy to read on nearly any small vehicle mounted LCD screen, with is contrasting colors, big icons and fonts, it makes getting from point A to B safe, easy and efficient. There is even a trip planning model to allow you to optimize your route before you even leave home! Our GPS software includes complete maps of the US and Canada.
	Wireless Internet, E-Mail & Networking Ready (optional)
	Easily connect an external wireless modem to the USB port or RJ45 LAN port on the G-NET Industrial Vehicle Mounted Computer, enabling access to the internet, e-mail and two way wireless communications.
	Integrated Wireless LAN Card & Antenna (optional)
	This option adds an integrated WiFi wireless LAN card (using the onboard Mini-PCI interface of the PC) to the G-NET Industrial Vehicle Mounted Computer. It also includes a small antenna that allows it to get signal even in the largest warehouses, factory's and wifi hotspots. This is an OPTIONAL item and is not included with the base system.
	Vehicle Diagnostics (optional)
	This G-NET Industrial Vehicle Mounted Computer option connects the special OBDII plug-in-port on or under the dash of your car or light truck to your computer. The OBD scanner then translates the signals from your vehicle’s computer-controlled sensors to easy-to-read visual displays. Choose which vehicle parameters you want to see and whether you want to view them in tables or as graphs, meters or gauges. This is a popular option for automotive performance tuners and hobbyists.

	The G-NET Vehicle Mounted Computer was built from the ground up to be a highly mobile system for in-vehicle use. The all in one rugged panel PC design makes it an ideal solution for vehicle and industrial applications. The system use's completely embedded components and very few moving parts. The 2.5” mobile hard drive is optimized for higher shock resistance than your average PC disk drive. For further ruggedization, we offer a solid state flash drive option.

	The G-NET Vehicle Mounted Computer features an all aluminum rugged enclosure that is IP65 dust and water resistant (except the IO ports). It also meets the MIL-810F and IEC60068-2-27 requirements for shock and vibration tolerance.

	The integrated 10.4" transflective LCD screen is ideal for vehicle and industrial environments. Not to small to use, and not to big to become a distraction. The transflective panel enables the display to be readable in sunlight and daylight conditions, unlike most laptops and LCD displays. The transflective display works by actually bouncing ambient light back through the LCD panel, to effectively create brightness, in very bright conditions, so the monitor is always clear and visible.

	The 5 wire resistive touch screen on the G-NET Industrial Vehicle Mounted Computer allows the user to easily control and access the computer and software applications with the simple touch of the finger or stylus. Eliminating the mouse not only reduces clutter, but is essential for installation into vehicles.
	Wide Power Input Range
	The G-NET Industrial Vehicle Mounted Computer integrated DC power supply features an 8-36V DC power input range, allowing it to operate on both 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems, as well as during engine cranks and battery under voltage situations.

At first glance certain people may consider this CPU underpowered because of its clock speed. It is important to consider both the application and the environment. Although many of today's modern desktop PC's can reach speeds around the 3.0ghz range, it is not without sacrifice. These higher speed CPU's require massive amounts of power and large form factor and advanced cooling system designs, two things which can not be obtained in a small form factor vehicle mounted computer.
