G-NET GM Unlock Device. Allows You To Watch DVD Movies While Driving In Your 2007+ GM, Cadillac Or Chevrolet SUV. Also Enables Nav Address Input & XM Satellite Radio Scrolling While In Motion.

Product Overview:G-NET GM Unlock Module

Unleash the power of the OEM navigation unit installed in your 2007-2008 GMC Yukon - Denali - Sierra - Acadia - Cadillac Escalade - Chevrolet Suburban - Avalanche - Tahoe - Silverado - Buick Enclave - Hummer H2 . The GNET_GMUNLOCK unit gives you the ability to watch DVD while driving, watch video from a separate video source while driving (applies only to vehicles equipped with auxiliary input on the rear seat entertainment OR if headunit is re-programmed to allow the use of the video input on our module) as well as enter street addresses and scroll through XM radio stations while the vehicle is in motion.

The module requires that the front screen and navigation be installed but the rear seat entertainment as well as XM satellite radio, although supported, are not required.

Once Installed The G-NET GM Unlock Module Will Enable You To:

-Watch DVD movies played in the front factory DVD player on the screen while the vehicle is in motion.

-Watch video from any video device connected to the rear seat auxiliary input jack while the vehicle is in motion (if the vehicle is equipped with an auxiliary input).

-Enable you to enter addresses into the navigation system while the vehicle is in motion (unlocks this feature for ~60 seconds, then automatically reverts to normal).

-Enable you to scroll through the XM channels list while the vehicle is in motion (if the vehicle is equipped with the XM radio option)

-Connect an aftermarket backup reverse camera or aftermarket video source such as a front camera, baby cam, game console or other device.

With The PRO Version, You Get All The Features Of The Regular GMUNLOCK PLUS:
- 3 Video Inputs (one reverse triggerable for aftermarket camera)

- 2 Stereo Audio Inputs (add an iPod, or MP3 player and hear it through your audio system)

- Turn on the factory reverse backup camera whenever you want, even while driving forward (if vehicle is equipped with oem camera)

- Connect an aftermarket Bluetooth module (COMPATIBLE WITH PARROT, MOTOROLA, AND OTHER UNIVERSAL BLUETOOTH HANDS FREE CELL PHONE KITS). Once you have "mated" your phone to the aftermarket Bluetooth hands free kit (sold separately) and connected it to the GMUNLOCKPRO your radio will automatically mute and you can hear the conversation over your factory speakers. Use the microphone provided with the aftermarket Bluetooth hands free kit to talk.

Playing DVD Movie On OEM Cadillac, GM, Chevy Nav Radio ScreenAutomatic or Manual Override Modes:

The latest revision of the GNET GM Unlock Nav & DVD Override Module allows for the override to work automatically without the need to press any buttons to enable the DVD in motion feature (applies to vehicles manufactured before 10/06). For vehicles manufactured after 10/06 the unit must be setup for "Manual DVD Mode" which requires you to press the voice / mute button on the steering wheel to activate the DVD / Aux input in motion. The automatic override lock pick feature is just for the DVD in motion activation. To override the the navigation address input, XM and toggle the video input on the module, a series of button presses is required.

Add an Aftermarket Backup Camera or Video Input To Your 2007 or 2008 Chevy, GM or Cadillac SUV
The G-NET GM override unlock module also has a composite video input that will allow the connection of a reverse backup camera to your factory system (for vehicles that do not already have the OEM reverse camera installed). If your vehicle already has the factory backup camera installed you can instead use this auxiliary video input for a third party video device such as a second camera, baby camera, game console or other video source. When the module is used with an aftermarket backup camera (i.e. no oem camera present) you can also toggle to this camera view while in drive and the vehicle is in motion by pressing a sequence of buttons (window lock button one time, then steering wheel mute button 4 times). When used in a vehicle with an OEM backup camera, this module WILL NOT enable you to switch to video the OEM backup camera while in motion, but allow you to view whatever video source is connected to the yellow auxiliary video input.

Please note that in order to use this feature the GM / Cadillac dealer must re-flash / reprogram your navigation head unit to be setup for the factory backup camera system. Some dealer technicians may not know how to perform this operation or will refuse to do this, therefore this feature is not guaranteed or supported by G-NET. Basic instructions informing the GM technician on how to accomplish this are provided in the installation guide.
