G-NET Universal Pricing Now In Effect
April 7 2008 ? Puslinch, Ontario ? G-NET Inc., a leading provider of vehicle computing, industrial computing, and OEM vehicle integration products has introduced a policy known as ?G-NET Universal Pricing?, which is simply defined as equal pricing for everyone including end users and dealers/resellers for orders of less than 10 identical units.
The universal pricing policy was created in response to the rising number of online retailers selling similar competing products directly to the public at discounted prices. The loss in G-NET online retail sales to end users / consumers has been noticeable over the last 12 months, due to the rise in external competition from these sources. In addition, existing G-NET dealers were unhappy with the margins available on the products, as they are slim to start with.
With the universal pricing policy in effect, all prices have been lowered to a point where consumers and end users can purchase products directly at ?online? competitive prices, and dealers can still purchase our products at pricing close to or less than distributors that only sell similar products to them.
Essentially what this comes down to is, if you are an end user or a dealer, you pay the same price if you are ordering fewer than 10 units of a product. However, for larger volume projects, or dealers looking to buy in bulk, we still offer respectable discounts for 10+, 20+ and 50+ unit quantities. Since there is no longer a dealer / reseller pricing structure we have eliminated the dealer program and dealer console from our web site, old G-NET dealers can simply visit our web site, and add products to their shopping cart and check out using the regular system.
